INFORMATION ABOUT COPYRIGHT

For a copyright’s registry to be performed, it is indispensable that the holder yields to Direção Marcas & Patentes, the necessary information of the work that you intend to register.

Here follow the essential information:

- Purpose of the work;
- Presentation of the work.

Besides this, the data and necessary documents are:

- Holder’s full name;
- RG (Brazilian Identity Card), CPF (tax payer’s number), nationality, marital status, profession;
- Address.

Note: Direção will be advising the work’s holder, in regards to whichever documents are needed to perform the registry; as such documents may vary depending of the type of work that you intend to register.
