INFORMATION ABOUT SOFTWARE REGISTRATION

For software’s registry to be performed, it is crucial that the holder yields to Direção Marcas & Patentes, the necessary information of the application that you intend to register.

Here follow the vital information:

- Type of Software;
- Name of the Software;
- Type of language and programming;
- And the programming’s complete self-language file that constitutes the software.

Besides this, the data and necessary documents are:

- Holder’s full name;
- RG (Brazilian Identity Card), CPF (tax payer’s number), nationality, marital status, profession;
- Address.

If the juridical person is the holder of the software’s patrimonial rights, his/ her documents will be needed: CNPJ (National Record of Juridical Person – it is a number that identifies the juridical person within the Brazilian IRS), document(s) of constitution and eventual alterations.
